Given that we will be getting a new President here in the US, do I hear Obama, we will all have a reason to celebrate. For those of you in the north-east, The Mighty Mighty Bostones have simpified celebration plans by announcing their 11th Annual Hometown Throwdown. This will be 5 days of festivities Dec 26 to 31. OK, not really festivities, but 5 days of kick ass music. They have four days planned for Cambridge, Mass and and one for Providence, RI.
No word yet who the other bands are that will be playing, but lets say a little prayer that the StreetDogs are on that list. Tickets go on sale this Friday, Oct 24. This year to avoid the ticket problems that occurred last year, there are some necessary pain in the ass rules. Check the MMB Myspace page for more info.
